WSU Eggert Family Organic Farm cut-lettuce workshop: April 9, 10:30 a.m.–noon

The organic farm will be hosting a workshop for gardeners and market farmers this Thursday from 10:30 a.m.–noon. The workshop will cover the system used to produce fast growing lettuce for a cut mix. Participants will see all stages of production from seeding to transplant and receive detailed direction on the tools and techniques used. The farm is able to grow lettuce for nine months of the year with a combination of high tunnels and field space.

Registration is required and can be done online.
