WSU Distinguished Scholars Gallery dedication Oct. 3 in the CUB

Faculty, staff, students, and the public are invited to the dedication of the WSU Distinguished Scholars Gallery on the CUB ground level Friday, Oct. 3.

Special guests at the 3:30 p.m. event will be Dr. Frank Gilmore, president of the Goldwater Foundation, and several WSU students and alumni who have received prestigious, nationally competitive scholarships, such as the Goldwater, Rhodes, and Fulbright.

Provost and Executive Vice President Daniel Bernardo, Vice Provost for Undergraduate Education Mary Wack, and Dr. Gilmore will be speakers at the event.  Refreshments will follow.

NOTE: A special Distinguished Scholars Gathering where students can visit with WSU’s Distinguished Scholars is set for 2 p.m. in CUE 518.  Please encourage all of your students to attend!
