WSU already-picked fruit sales continue Nov. 10 & 11

Over this Veterans Day weekend, please come and re-stock your fresh apples and Italian prune plums with us! Use your fruit to make wonderful applesauce or plum sauce, dehydrated apple slices with a touch of cinnamon and sugar sprinkled on them, or home-dried Italian prune plums. Think about making delicious homemade pie, crisp, cobbler, bread or kuchen for Thanksgiving treats! We still have lots of Italian prune plums and apples including McIntosh, Rome, Fuji, Jonagold, Gala, Golden Delicious, and Red Delicious for you to choose from.

Fruit sale hours are:

  • Friday from noon to 6 p.m.
  • Saturday from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m.

If you would like more information about how to find us at 1452 Johnson Road inside Spillman Farm or exactly what unusual varieties of apples we have, please go to our website: horticulture.wsu.edu/orchard.
