‘Ignite Your Future’ is accepting workshop proposals for the 2015 4-H Teen Conference, June 28-30, at WSU Campus in Pullman. 450 teens from across Washington State attend this event.
The goal is to provide fun, educational workshops focused in three areas:
1) Educational options for after high school;
2) Career exploration and steps a teen may take during high school to prepare for a given career;
3) Life skills necessary for positive independent living.
All presentations fall on Monday, June 29. Workshop sessions are planned for the morning and afternoon, one or two-hour time slots. Audience will include 4-H teens and teens from other youth development organizations grades 8-12 (Summer 2015).
Each Teen Conference educational offering and activity should be experiential or very “hands on” for the students. Find the workshop submission form at: https://hhhhteenconf.wufoo.com/forms/workshop-proposal-form-4h-teen-conference/ . Proposal submission deadline is February 27th.
In addition, workshop presenters receive space, free of charge, for the Career/Education Fair, Tuesday morning June 30th. Questions: contact Jan Klein jlklein@wsu.edu
