William David ‘Bill’ Lipe

William David Lipe died peacefully Wednesday, April 9, 2025, in Moscow, with loving family by his side. Bill is survived by adult children, Carrie, Jessie and David and grandchildren Finn and Max. Celebrations of life will be held this summer in Moscow and the Southwest.

Contributions in Bill’s honor may be made to the WSU Bill Lipe Graduate Student Archaeological Research Fund online. Contributions may also be sent to the Crow Canyon Archaeological Center by sending a check to the Crow Canyon Archaeological Center (memo ‘Research Institute’), 23390 Road K, Cortez, CO 81321.
