What you can do to prevent water pollution

Whether we work or live next to a stream, lake or miles away from either, our everyday actions affect water quality. To learn more about how you can prevent stormwater and water pollution please refer to the WSU Environmental Health and Safety documents about Water Pollution Solutions (PDF) and Stormwater Public Education Information (PDF).

To learn more about vehicle fluid leaks and how they impact stormwater and surface waters (streams, lakes, ocean) please visit What Drains from Your Car Goes Near and Far (PDF).

If you are interested in learning more about stormwater, please visit the WSU Environmental Health and Safety Stormwater Management website. If you have questions, please contact Gene Patterson at 509-335-5510 for more information. Thank you for your assistance.

And please remember… “Only rain down the drain!”
