We are all in this together!

Women in Recreation month is coming to an end, but there are still plenty of opportunities available! During the last week, the theme is community. University Recreation wants everyone to realize what they are able to achieve, especially when they work together. UREC will be offering several events for the last week to finish off the month strong.

The week kicks off on Wednesday, Feb. 25, with Women Can Play, Too! This is an opportunity to meet with women Sport Club teams in the SRC Lobby. On Feb. 26, a workshop will be held on connecting with others. A free CrossFit class will be held on Friday, Feb. 27 in Smith 21 (time TBD). This is a perfect activity for Women in Recreation since CrossFit is built on community and focuses on overcoming barriers and celebrating achievements!

The month culminates with a RecRally on Feb. 28 starting at 8 a.m. This is an opportunity to check-out new programs and try something you’ve never done before!
