WSU Celebrates Make a Difference Day

The fourth Saturday of every October is Make a Difference Day, a day time to give back to our communities. This year, Make a Difference Day falls on October 26, and the WSU Center for Civic Engagement (CCE) has planned a number of projects for WSU students, faculty and staff. Projects include visiting the Whitman Senior Living Community, trail maintenance with Moscow Area Mountain Bike Association, river preservation with the Palouse Conservation District, and working on the Edible Landscape project with the Community Action Center.

Individuals at a distance and groups can also work with the CCE to develop a special project! This year, for instance, ASWSU will be working with the Palouse-Clearwater Environmental Institute to plant trees near the Palouse River.
