WSU Premium Beef is taking locker beef orders for Wagyu/Angus beef. This beef will be 5/8 or 3/4 Wagyu.
- $3.85 per hanging pound for the beef
- $0.92 per hanging pound for the cut and wrap
Hanging weights will range from 650 to 850 pounds and the beef will be ready to be picked up in January, February, and March, depending on where you are on the list.
This beef is the product of WSU Animal Science department. Careful breeding, growing and finishing all took place within 12 miles of the WSU Pullman campus, with WSU students being critical to the day-to-day care of the animals. WSU beef operations adhere to strict animal care standards and the cattle are not given growth hormones to ensure the best eating experience. After harvest, the beef is aged two to three weeks before being cut and wrapped. You can visit with the butcher at the Meats Lab to have it cut up the way you like.
