W. Kamau Bell has been announced as the keynote speaker for the 33rd Annual MLK Community Celebration. The event will take place on Thursday, Jan. 23, at 6:30 p.m. in the CUB Junior and Senior Ballrooms at WSU Pullman.
W. Kamau Bell is a sociopolitical comedian and the host of the Emmy Award-winning CNN docu-series United Shades of America with W. Kamau Bell. He recently made his Netflix debut with a new stand-up comedy special, Private School Negro. W. Kamau Bell directed the critically-acclaimed documentary Cultureshock: Chris Rock’s Bring the Pain and is also an author and podcast host.
