W. Kamau Bell announced as 2020 MLK Celebration keynote

W. Kamau Bell has been announced as the keynote speaker for the 33rd Annual MLK Community Celebration. The event will take place on Thursday, Jan. 23 at 6:30 p.m. in the CUB Junior and Senior Ballrooms at WSU Pullman.

W. Kamau Bell is a sociopolitical comedian and the host of the Emmy Award-winning CNN docu-series United Shades of America with W. Kamau Bell. He recently made his Netflix debut with a new stand-up comedy special, Private School Negro. W. Kamau Bell directed the critically-acclaimed documentary Cultureshock: Chris Rock’s Bring the Pain and is also an author and podcast host. He has been nominated for multiple NAACP Image Awards and a GLAAD Award. Learn more about W. Kamau Bell.

This event is free and open to the public and will be available to livestream.
