Villanueva to lead Generation 1.5 writing workshop

WSU Professor and Writing Program Director Victor Villanueva is leading a workshop this Thursday on how to teach writing to Generation 1.5 students: Children of non-native speakers who are fluent in spoken English, but write using the style and conventions of their parents’ language. Heritage Speakers: Writing and Perceptions of Under-Preparedness will be at 12:10 p.m. Thursday, Jan. 28, in CUE 518, and will also be live-streamed. Lunch will be provided. Please register here.
