Upcoming Microsoft Copilot Chat interface update

Microsoft is scheduled to update the version of Copilot Chat currently available to all WSU faculty, staff, and students between now and late June 2025.

The scheduled update will introduce minor changes to the layout, navigation, chat functionality, and module availability in the web and mobile version of Copilot Chat.

The expected changes may impact how users navigate and interact with the platform, and while no action is required, WSU users are encouraged to review a detailed overview of the upcoming Copilot Chat changes.

An exact date the update will take effect within WSU’s Copilot Chat environment is not available.
