U-Fit 4.0 Helps Students Balance Fitness & Academics

U-Fit 4.0 is a free fitness program created by University Recreation full-time and student employees, designed specifically to help WSU students build a fitness routine that will benefit them inside and outside of the classroom. By completing the program and submitting an essay at its conclusion, participants will qualify to win a prize.

This year, the program is open to WSU Pullman students and WSU Global students. Pullman undergraduate students will be required to work out 4 times per week for 10 out of 12 weeks and complete a reflective essay for a chance to win a $1,000 scholarship, provided by ASWSU. Pullman graduate students and Global students will be required to work out 2 times per week for 6 out of 9 weeks for chances to win prizes from GPSA and ASWSU Global.

Besides accountability and support, the U-Fit 4.0 exercise program provides weekly workout routines that are targeted towards work capacity, heart rate, range of motion at all major joints, and overall strength.

The program begins Jan. 17 and registration closes on Jan. 31. Winners will be chosen by student government groups in April.
