Two dynamic speakers set for MLK Celebration

One of the best-known Civil Rights activists from the 1960’s, Diane Nash, will visit the Pullman campus on Wednesday, Jan. 22.  Best-selling author and scholar Michael Eric Dyson will visit on Wednesday, Jan. 29.  As part of their visits, both will deliver a keynote address at 7 p.m. in the Compton Union Building Sr. Ballroom.  The presentations are open to the public and free of charge.

“The Martin Luther King, Jr. Celebration planning committee is very excited these two talented individuals have agreed to part of our MLK Celebration,” said Marc Robinson, director of WSU’s Culture and Heritage Houses. “Both are highly sought after and we are fortunate to be able to bring them here.”

Both speakers will sign books following their speeches and books will be available for purchase at the events.
