Two AmeriCorps VISTA positions available in Pullman

Two full time AmeriCorps VISTA positions as the STEM Literacy Worms to Widgets Project Coordinators are currently available in Pullman, Wash. These VISTA members will coordinate a campus and community-based project to increase opportunities for underrepresented youth to engage in STEM programming in Pullman and rural Whitman County! One position will be located in the WSU Center for Civic Engagement (CCE) and focus on rural programming. The other position will be located at the YMCA of the Palouse and focus on Pullman programming. Both coordinators will work together to develop and implement this new STEM literacy program.

Training, living allowance, education award, relocation allowance, childcare assistance, and health coverage are included. The position is a year long term beginning August 22, 2017 with the possibility of renewal for a second year. Applicants must have a minimum of a college degree and be at least 18 years old.
