Today: Panel of reducing food waste & facilitating food recovery

The WSU community is invited to attend this afternoon’s Public Square Panel on WSU efforts to reduce food waste and facilitate food recovery from 3–4 p.m. in Butch’s Den (CUB lower level) on the Pullman campus. Sponsored by the Center for Civic Engagement and the Common Reading Program, the panel will address the many practices that WSU has initiated in recent years to improve usage of food resources across campus. Panelists will include speakers from Waste Management, Dining Services, the Cougar Food Pantry, and the Center for Civic Engagement. As we head into Food Waste Prevention Week (April 1–13), come hear some good news about the ways WSU is making a difference on campus and in our local community!

The Notices and Announcements section is provided as a service to the WSU community for sharing events such as lectures, trainings, and other highly transactional types of information related to the university experience.
