TODAY – Humanities Week Public Presentation, Neill Library

Join us today at Neill Public Library (210 N Grand Ave, Pullman) in the Hecht Meeting Room at 5:30 p.m. for a presentation by our 2015 Humanities Week keynote speaker, David William Foster, Ph.D. and Regents professor, Arizona State University entitled “Three Founding Latin American Women Photographers.”

Dr. Foster will explore how “women played an important and significant role in early Latin American photography and how photography subsequently provided women with an important cultural genre for examining women’s issues and expressing feminist interpretations.”

The presentation is free and open to the public and is co-sponsored by Neill Public/Whitman County Libraries and the Humanities Planning Group at WSU.  A reception will follow.
