Today: Faculty share ways to engage students

WSU Clinical Associate Psychology Professor Dee Posey and Associate Professor William B. Davis have each adopted elements of the “flipped classroom” approach. Both report substantial improvements in student success. (See WSU News story.)

Posey and Davis will share their methods—and their impressive data—during today’s faculty-led workshop: Engaging Students in Active Learning.

The workshop is 12:10 p.m. in CUE 518, and will also be live-streamed. Lunch will be provided. Please register here.

These workshops are sponsored by the WSU Provost’s Office, WSU Teaching Academy and WSU Academic Outreach and Innovation.
