TODAY is the deadline for Undergraduate Research Awards applications

Do you mentor students doing research or creative activities?  Please encourage them to apply for an award for 2019-20 from the Office of Undergraduate Research! The deadline is today!

“Students from all majors on all WSU campuses are eligible for the awards,”  said  Shelley Pressley, director. “Thanks to the vision of generous donors, award recipients can afford to spend time concentrating on their research efforts rather than having to work at a job.”

Applying is easy

Applicants must provide information on their research, and request a letter of reference from their research mentor.

“The process is really very easy for students, and mentors are happy to explain how and why the applicant qualifies for an award, so we encourage all students to consider this opportunity,” said Pressley.

The application form asks applicants to choose which of three awards they seek.
