This year, the Department of Criminal Justice and Criminology turns 10 years old!

Please join us during Family Weekend for an open house of our new facilities in Wilson‑Short Hall.  What is now the Department of Criminal Justice and Criminology started in 1943 as the Department of Police Science.  Through the years, we have existed under a number of different umbrellas, and for many of these years, we were housed in Johnson Tower. As we turn 10 in our latest incarnation, we are now located in more spacious offices on the first and ground floors of Wilson-Short Hall. We would love to kick off a year of celebrations by giving you a grand tour, introducing you to our newest faculty and staff members, and creating space for our current and past students to get to know each other.

Friday, October 15, 2021, 10:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. Wilson-Short Hall, room 111, Autumnal refreshments will be served.  We will ensure compliance to COVID protocols.
