Therapeutic horseback riding program needs volunteers

Palouse Area Therapeutic Horsemanship, PATH, is looking for volunteers for the May 10-June 9 riding session.  No experience is necessary, but volunteers must be at least 16 years old and comfortable working around horses.  New volunteers need to attend an orientation Monday, April 25, at 6 p.m. in ADBF room 1002. They will also need to come to the training session at the barn, Wednesday, April 27, at 6 p.m.  Time commitment is about 1.5-3 hours per week.  Classes are held Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday evenings at 5:30 and 7 p.m..

PATH is a community service program of the College of Veterinary Medicine and a United Way partner.  PATH has been providing horseback riding lessons to children and adults with disabilities since 1979 and is a Premier Accredited Center of the Professional Association of Therapeutic Horsemanship International.
