Jim Evans earned his PhD in Mathematical Physics, University of Adelaide, Australia and is currently a Professor of Physics & Astronomy and of Mathematics, Iowa State University. He is the Project Leader, Division of Chemical & Biosciences, Ames National Laboratory – USDOE. He participates as an Editorial Board Member for: J. Chemical Physics (AIP), Surface Science (Elsevier), Computational Materials Science (Elsevier), and is a Fellow of the American Physical Society.
