Tech Test Kitchen: Learn basics of video creation, editing

Using videos in the classroom can be a great way to engage students. At this week’s WSU Technology Test Kitchen, you can learn to create videos with your smartphone, then edit them.

Video production will be covered from 10-11 a.m. Thursday, April 23. Video editing will be covered from 2-3 p.m. the same day. From 2-4 p.m. Friday is an open lab where you can stop by and chat with the experts.

All sessions are in the AMS offices at Holland Library 150. No registration is required; just drop in.

The Technology Test Kitchen is offered by WSU Global Campus and the Provost’s Office. It focuses on different educational technologies each week, and runs through May 1. Next week’s topic is 3-D printing, which can be used in a variety of educational settings. Full schedule here.
