Take Back the Night! Thursday, Oct. 13

Every year, the Coalition for Women Students and the Women’s Resource Center host an event called Take Back the Night which is geared towards supporting the end of sexual violence in all forms, raising awareness about sexual violence, and supporting survivors of sexual violence. This year, Take Back the Night is scheduled for Thursday, Oct. 13, and located at Todd Hall Steps at 6:30 p.m. There will be tabling, spoken word poetry, music performances, and a march to bring awareness to sexual assault and sexual violence. The event will close with a glow stick candle vigil.

You can check out this event on Facebook. For more information, email Timonae Taylor, the chair of the Coalition for Women Students.  We hope to see you there!
