Summer Aid Awards Have Arrived!

At the end of last week, Student Financial Services started delivering aid awards to summer students.  Students enrolled in at least half-time credits are eligible for summer financial aid.  A big change this summer is that students do not need to submit a Summer Financial Aid Application to be considered for aid as in past years. However, students do need to have a 2013-2014 FAFSA on file and they will need to be registered in at least 6 credits if they’re an undergrad and 3 credits if they’re a graduate student to be considered for summer aid.

Financial aid eligibility is based on whether a student used all their grant and loan funds during the fall 2013 and spring 2014 semesters. If a student has an award, they will be sent an email and their award would be viewable on ZZUSIS. Summer financial aid delivers electronically when the student’s classes begin (the first day of the first summer class).  For questions about summer financial aid, contact Student Financial Services at 509-335-9711, finaid@wsu.edu or check our website at finaid.wsu.edu for useful FAQs and Announcements.
