Submit nominations to celebrate distinguished Cougs by July 15

Do you know a Washington State University alum whose achievements have changed the world or brought incredible pride to WSU? Nominate them for the Regents’ Distinguished Alumni Award (RDAA) — the highest honor WSU bestows on its alumni!

Since 1962, the RDAA has recognized Cougs who have made remarkable contributions to society or brought exceptional distinction to WSU through their personal and professional achievements. Each year, one extraordinary individual is selected to join this prestigious legacy. You can learn more about the award on the Regent’s web page.

Past recipients include:

  • IT Cosmetics founder, Jamie Kern Lima;
  • Renowned broadcasters, Edward R. Murrow and Keith Jackson;
  • Space shuttle astronaut, John Fabian;
  • Microsoft co-founder and philanthropist, Paul Allen;
  • The Far Side cartoonist, Gary Larson;
  • And recipient of the 2004 Nobel Peace Prize in Chemistry, Irwin Rose.

Nominations for the RDAA are being accepted now until July 15. The nomination form can be found online.
