Student Involvement seeks new Graduate Assistant

Attention Graduate Students!

Student Involvement is seeking a graduate assistant for hire, as soon as possible.  The opening is for the Student Organizations Advisor position.  The job requires 20 hrs/week.

Here is a summary of the specific responsibilities:

-Developing and implementing training for all Registered Student Organizations (RSO’s)

– Oversee student event registration process, including risk management (collaborating with other staff members across campus)

– Write weekly announcements for e-mail distribution

-advise RSO’s on event planning

– Develop advertising and public relations for Student Organization Services

-Coordinate and manage website and CougSync management system

-Work with all aspects of the general student involvement office.
