Spring Financial Aid Delivery

Student Financial Services (SFS) is here to help!

The entire Student Financial Services staff is excited to reach out to WSU students and their families to ensure a successful start to the spring semester. We are ready to answer questions and guide when and where needed!  We recognize most students at this time are “Good-to-Go” for spring aid; however, some WSU students may still be sorting out details about their financial aid awards and/or may be new to Financial Aid at WSU.  Below is key information to assist you when helping WSU students at the spring semester start.

Spring Financial Aid Delivery

Student Financial Services will start disbursing spring financial aid to WSU students’ accounts on Wednesday, January 7th, and we will continue to do so throughout the semester. SFS appreciates you encouraging students to check their ZZUSIS and WSU email accounts to be sure they have taken care of business with our office, so their aid can deliver before classes start. If students are signed up for direct deposit and have a refund coming to them after all charges have been paid, then students should start receiving those refunds around the first day of classes.  Students who are grant eligible and are enrolled in less than full time credits—their financial aid will begin disbursing after January 26 because of grant adjustments that will need to be made to match their total enrollment based on the Financial Aid Census date.
