Five finalist teams will present their solutions to real cases of arbitrary detention in the United States at the free, public Sixth Annual Global Case Competition. The event will take place at 3 p.m. Friday, April 8, in CUE 202.
The work of these team will inform the U.N. Working Group on Arbitrary Detention report to the United States, and in so doing, affect how it may approach future cases around the world. The winner of the competition will be invited to provide their solutions to the U.N. Working Group in Geneva in November.
