Simpson Strong-Tie Building Connections Symposium

Students are invited to join Simpson Strong-Tie engineers and field specialists for a day of building connections to learn how structural connectors and pre-engineered components help structures safely resist natural hazards.

The Building Connections Symposium will be held Saturday, November 13, 9 am–2 pm in PACCAR ELB, WSU Pullman. The event will include hands-on activities and opportunities to interact with Simpson Strong-Tie experts.

Get insightful tips and perspectives from design and construction professionals that will help your career paths. See how a new generation of structural screws are upending old methods of fastening wood and steel. Experience what it’s like to impact-drive mechanical anchors into concrete. See how much load a cured adhesive anchor achieves when subjected to a pull test. Watch cross-laminated timber tested to failure.
