Seven Transformational Change Initiative (TCI) IDEA grants awarded

Faculty have been awarded seven TCI IDEA grants for advancing inclusion, diversity, equity, and access to impact teaching and learning system-wide. The grants range from $800 to $5,000. They are one of several key WSU priorities and commitments in the provost’s office that promote IDEA.

With project leads and collaborators from colleges, schools, and programs at WSU Pullman and WSU Tri‑Cities, the professional-development project topics range from book clubs and a common reading to representation of diverse experts in multimedia instructional materials, and from a hands‑on, design-oriented project to highlight a city’s racist legacy of infrastructure to a regional Indigenous language reclamation project, and more.

The awards represent the second set in two years from TCI.
