Sept. 1, 2022 mass salary increase notification emails

HRS apologizes for the confusion the Sept. 1, 2022 mass salary increase (MSI) notifications for administrative professionals and faculty have caused. Please note the MSIs have already been processed within Workday. The emails that were sent out are the formal notification memo for the employee file. We recognize the timing is confusing and will learn from this and improve the notification process in the future.

On Feb. 8 and 9, employees and supervisors received an email from hrs.workday@wsu.edu regarding salary increases effective Sept. 1, 2022. The email includes a PDF attachment of the letter to be placed in the employee personnel file.

Behind the scenes, HRS has been working to ensure the accuracy of the email and attachments and will continue to improve upon the timely delivery of these letters from Workday.

If you have any questions, please reach out to a member of your HR Service Team.
