The school of the Environment invites you to join us for the seminar titled ” Water Across the Columbia Plateau”, presented by Jack Nisbet.
Drawing on early journals, letters, tribal oral accounts, and period artworks, this presentation attempts to visualize riparian and wetland habitats in Eastern Washington around the period of contact. Special attention will be paid to the relationship of people and water in a dry landscape.
