Seminar: Lab Safety Training

Please join us on Thursday, January 17, 11 a.m. to Noon in ETRL room 101 for a lab safety seminar/training.

Presented by representatives from the WSU Environmental Health & Safety (EH&S) office. Topics to be discussed include 1) chemical and dangerous waste management, with an introduction to resources to assist with safely managing chemical waste, 2) hazard identification and the hierarchy of hazard controls, 3) Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) selection, considerations, and criteria, and 4) accident prevention. Meet the speakers before the seminar in ETRL room 119 from 10:30-10:50 a.m. We look forward to having you join us!
