Semana de la Raza: Celebrate Chicana/o Latina/o culture March 3-9

Semana de La Raza, a weeklong program of Chicana/o Latina/o culture, art, history and scholarship, will be March 3-9 at WSU Pullman.

It will include a free brunch Sunday, March 9, and the 35th annual Gabriel Cardenas scholarship banquet Saturday, March 8. Cardenas was a doctoral student when he died in 1977; his parents created a scholarship to encourage Chicana/o Latina/o students at WSU.
