Seeking participants for an experiment on emotional responses to political messages

We are looking for participants for our experiment on how people respond to politicians’ speeches. Our research team is led by Dr. Paul Bolls at Washington State University.

This study involves coming to our lab located in Goertzen Hall on the WSU Pullman campus. It will last about an hour. If qualified to participate, you will be compensated with a $35 e-gift card.

To participate in this study, you must be aged 25–65, a U.S. citizen, eligible to vote, and understand basic English. If you are selected and agree to take part in this study, we will be placing sensors on your forehead, forearms, and your hand. Then you will be asked to view several videos and complete survey questions. This survey will ask about your basic demographic information, political views, emotional responses after viewing each video, and how you generally experience your emotions.

Please complete the online form if you are interested in participating in this study.
