Search extended for Faculty Athletics Representative

The recruitment period for a new Faculty Athletics Representative (FAR) has been extended by two weeks—to Friday, February 3. The initial two-week application period was compressed due to the closure of the university last Wednesday and competing priorities occurring at the beginning of the semester.

The FAR serves under the direction of WSU President Kirk Schulz and plays a critical role ensuring the academic integrity of the intercollegiate athletics program, facilitating institutional control of intercollegiate athletics, and enhancing the student-athlete experience at WSU.
