Screening of “He Named Me Malala” hosted by the Common Reading Program Today

The Common Reading Program hosts a screening of the film “He Named Me Malala” Tues. Oct. 25, at 7 p.m. in CUE 203.  The event is free and open to the public.

This 2015 documentary by Davis Guggenheim is an intimate portrait of Malala Yousafzai, the author of this year’s common reading.  It covers both the events of the book and also Malala’s life since her attack as she has continued her studies and her advocacy in Birmingham, England.
