Writer and editor to read, discuss his work at WSU Pullman Nov. 7, and serve on a Publishing and Editing Roundtable on Nov. 8.
W. Scott Olsen writes about things that scare him, flying a single engine plane across remote landscapes, tracking the lives of wildland firefighters, and other risky things that attract his interest. He is the author of over ten books and his essays have appeared in the Noteable list of The Best American Essays seven times. A professor at Concordia College in Moorhead, Minnesota, he edits the national literary magazine Ascent.
Olsen will be on the WSU Pullman campus on Thursday, November 7, to read and discuss his literary work at 5 p.m. in the Museum of Art/WSU. The event is free and open to the public.
