Rita Koontz is retiring from WSU after 42 years!

We are pleased to invite you to a retirement reception honoring Rita Koontz. Please join us from 2:30-4:30 p.m. on Friday, Sept. 23, in the WSU Lewis Alumni Center. 

Rita served WSU for 42 years in various roles, including 38 years with the Social and Economic Sciences Research Center (SESRC). Rita, has been an integral part of the SESRC’s administrative leadership team. Rita received WSU’s Employee of the Year (1999), the Women of Distinction (2005) awards, and served on numerous WSU Committees.  Rita’s hallmark is her nurturing service spirit, her “can-do” attitude, and her ability to connect with people.
