Nominations are now open for the Fall 2022 Research Leadership Training (RLP).
RLP provides promising and driven mid‑career faculty with the leadership, communication, interpersonal, organization, and project-planning skills required to lead their peers in large-multidisciplinary programs.
The program begins with an 8‑session research leadership course lead by the AtKisson Training Group (ATG) and two one‑on‑one executive coaching sessions with the ATG trainer. This first phase will provide the basis for developing the leadership and communication skills needed for multidisciplinary peer research groups. The second phase, facilitated by ORAP and established WSU research leaders, includes additional sessions that will provide an inside look at the realities of leading large projects and engaging stakeholders and collaborators. Participants who complete both phases will be provided a peer mentor and priority support from Office of Research Advancement and Partnership’s proposal consultants.
Participants must be either an associate or early-stage full professor who have the potential to lead large multidisciplinary teams.

Nomination deadline: Monday, Aug. 1.
