The 2016-2017 WSU General Scholarship Application submission deadline is January 31, 2016 – no late applications are accepted.
- Put this on your radar: one application = over 700 different scholarships possibilities for the next academic year! The scholarship application is for students attending any WSU campus.
- Many WSU colleges and departments use this application to qualify students for their scholarships, so don’t miss out! It’s easy to fill out—only six short answer essay questions.

The 2016-2017 FAFSA (Free Application for Federal Student Aid) becomes available to complete on January 1, 2016.
- The WSU priority deadline for submitting the 2016-17 FAFSA is February 15th – meeting this deadline puts you in the best position to receive the maximum financial aid you are eligible for.
- You don’t have to have your taxes done before completing this application—you can initially use estimates to submit the FAFSA and then later, update those estimates with actual figures based on your taxes when done. To complete the FAFSA, click here.
The 2016-2017 WASFA (Washington Application for State Financial Aid) becomes available to complete on January 4, 2016.
- The WASFA application is only for HB1079 and qualifying DACA students.
- The deadline for submitting the 2016-17 WASFA is February 15th.
