REMINDER—Two important financial aid deadlines approaching!

The 2016-2017 FAFSA (Free Application for Federal Student Aid) became available to complete on January 1, 2016.

  • The WSU priority deadline for submitting the 2016-17 FAFSA is February 15 – meeting this deadline puts you in the best position to receive the maximum financial aid you are eligible for.
  • You don’t have to have your taxes done before completing this application—you can initially use estimates to submit the FAFSA and then later, update those estimates with actual figures based on your taxes when done. To complete the FAFSA, click here.

The 2016-2017 WASFA (Washington Application for State Financial Aid) became available to complete on January 4, 2016.

  • The WASFA application is only for HB1079 and qualifying DACA students.
  • The deadline for submitting the 2016-17 WASFA is February 15.
