Faculty, teaching staff, and graduate students can register through Wednesday for the second annual TEACHxWSU 2023 focused on the theme of “Equity and Inclusion in Higher Education.”
A morning keynote address and several afternoon sessions will be offered in‑person at WSU Pullman as well as virtually for participants system‑wide. Lunch will be available to WSU Pullman attendees at no cost if they select that option as part of registration.
The keynote speakers are Rita Kumar and Brenda Refaei, co‑editors of the book “Equity and Inclusion in Higher Education.” Both are faculty at the University of Cincinnati Blue Ash. The book is being used as the WSU Teaching Academy’s common reading.
Additional workshops, both in‑person and virtual, will be offered from 12:30–2 p.m. and 2:10–3:40 p.m. The workshop schedule and session content and leader details is online. Those sessions and hosts are:
