The 2018 InQueery Symposium will be held on Monday, Oct. 29 at the Pullman campus. The symposium will take place at the Elson S. Floyd Cultural Center, with check-in beginning at 3:45 p.m.
InQueery is an annual event that brings together scholars, students, and WSU community members to envision the future of queer theory and politics. The symposium features a national speaker and student presentations related to the LGBTQ+ community.
This year, the keynote speaker will be Dr. C. Riley Snorton, who is a scholar, author, and activist. His books include “Black on Both Sides: A Racial History of Trans Identity,” and “Nobody is Supposed to Know: Black Sexuality on the Down Low.” The keynote will begin at 6:45 p.m.
