Read a good book lately? Oct. 15 is the deadline for Common Reading nominations!

The Common Reading Program is accepting nominations for the 2016-17 common reading book through October 15.  The book should fit with the two-year theme of “Leadership and Social Justice.”  This year’s book, “Just Mercy: A story of Justice and Redemption,” by Bryan Stevenson, aligns with this theme.

The Common Reading website has a list of this year’s nominated books.  You can suggest a new book or endorse one of the already nominated books.

Nominations will remain open until 6 p.m. Oct. 15, 2015.
