Pullman phone system maintenance, Dec. 22

From 8 p.m. on Thursday, Dec. 22 to 2 a.m. on Friday, Dec. 23, Information Technology Services (ITS) will be restarting the Cisco Call Manager core system to refresh the system in preparation for UPS work in the Data Center.

This work will affect WSU Pullman and will cause phones to re‑register twice during the maintenance period. This process will take less than five minutes and will not impact active calls.

This work is not expected to impact WSU users. However, if a user encounters phone issues related to the phone unregistering, technical teams recommend unplugging the cable located at the back of the phone, waiting 10 seconds, and plugging the cable back in.

For any questions, please contact the Crimson Service Desk via email at crimsonservicedesk@wsu.edu or phone at 509‑335‑4357.
