Pullman phone system maintenance, Dec. 22

Beginning at 8 p.m. on Thursday, Dec. 22, until 2 a.m. on Friday, Dec. 23, Information Technology Services (ITS) is restarting the Cisco Call Manager core system to prepare for UPS work in the Data Center.

This work will cause WSU Pullman phones to re‑register twice, but will not affect active calls. Although technical teams expect this restart process to take less than five minutes, the entire maintenance window is reserved for this work.

ITS does not anticipate direct user impact from this work, but if a user encounters issues related to a campus phone unregistering, technical teams recommend unplugging the cable from the back of the phone, waiting 10 seconds, and plugging the cable back in.

For any questions regarding this scheduled maintenance, please contact the Crimson Service Desk via email at crimsonservicedesk@wsu.edu or phone at 509‑335‑4357.
