The Student Financial Services (SFS) office wanted to let the Pullman campus community know that Work Study funds for Pullman campus students have been exhausted based on our first-come, first-served submission policy. This means that all work study awards that could be given to WSU Pullman students have been awarded. Unless additional federal and/or state monies become available to award students, there will be no further work study given to Pullman students for the fall, spring, and summer terms.
This week, Pullman work study eligible students will receive an email status update from SFS about work study awarding. Please note that work study awards are still available for Vancouver, Tri-Cities, and Spokane students since their funding has not yet been exhausted.
Please encourage students who do not receive a work study award to consider other options to fund their WSU educations (if needed). Such options could include searching CougLink for on and off-campus jobs, applying for outside scholarships, and pursuing a private education loan.
If students have any further questions about work study specifically, please email sfs.workstudy@wsu.edu. For general financial aid guidance, please encourage Pullman students to contact Student Financial Services by phone at 509-335-9711, email at finaid@wsu.edu, or in person by scheduling an online advisor appointment at finaid.wsu.edu.
